Five things we're loving this week
Note from our sister team Souk: We’re a team of dedicated (okay, addicted) hunters of cool products, who finally have an excuse to do what we love best, which is to spend tons of time window-browsing for the good stuff & sharing it with everyone we know.
Each week we pick five new things we absolutely love. Some of these are practical. Some are delightful. Most sit somewhere in between. What they all have in common is that they’re not obvious, and that’s exactly why we love them. At least one of them will make you think: I didn’t even know this existed… but now I want it.
PS: There are a ton of more shopping recs over at Souk. Check them out already!

Keeper Tray
We recommended the box from this collection awhile ago, but we can’t stop thinking about this equally cute and functional tray. We'd use this on an entryway table as a drop-off point for airpods and keys after work, or even on the coffee table to do double duty as a remote coraller and conversation starter. All the pieces in Claymen's Keeper collection have been hand-sculpted in stonewear clay with naturally occurring imperfections and irregularities, and we think they do a beautiful job pairing sculptural, playful decor with everyday functionality.
Koi Pillow & Maracas Gift Set
We've long admired White Water Kids for their values, as well as their commitment to natural materials and dyes, environmental and cultural sustainability, fair trade practices, inclusivity, and ethics. This gift set for newborns and toddlers, comes with a Koi fish mustard seed pillow embroidered by traditional Lambadi women artisans in rural south India, and a pair of Maracas crafted from sustainably sourced rubber wood and painted with child-friendly water based colours. We also love that the set comes packed in a reusable muslin bag with an interactive paper game tag, ready for gifting.
A Stitch Out Of Time
French artist Anaïs Beaulieu first started embroidering on plastic bags when she drove by a field choked with them in Burkina Faso. A Stitch Out of Time features images of her embroidery on throwaway plastic bags, typically used for disposing waste. The book plays with two powerful themes: environmental degradation symbolised by the ubiquitous take-over of our surroundings by plastic and the slow time of creation, whether of a tree, or a piece of embroidery.
A Stitch Out of Time is a result of collaborative artisanal processes: embroidery, tailoring, screen-printing and book-binding. Each cover features an inlaid panel of embroidered plastic, the endsheets are silkscreen-printed by hand and all copies are carefully packaged in cotton tote bags — one side is specially embroidered and the other is for the readers to fill-in themselves.
Brunost Norwegian Whey Cheese
We first recommended this cheese in our very first Secret Santa gift guide, and it came to our notice again recently when we heard it had won a Bronze at the 2025 World Cheese Awards. (It won the Super Gold in 2023, and made history by becoming the first-ever Indian cheese to win a Silver on the world stage in 2021).
Originating in Norway, Brunost, or brown cheese, is created by heating leftover cheesemaking whey until the milk sugars caramelize and the whey reaches a fudge-like consistency. Its texture is reminiscent of the ubiquitous Indian milk sweet ‘Peda’ and each block of Eleftheria's Brunost cheese is embossed with the initials of the company's name in Devanagari script just as artisans do with ‘Peda’—a detail we particularly love!
Yama Organic Table
We love objects that blend sculpture and function, and this fibreglass table does just that. Each piece is hand-painted with textured (plastic-based) paint, making it heat-resistant, weather-friendly, durable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. We also like that they come in three versatile, interior-friendly colours—Charcoal, White, and Bronze Gold.
