Shop our resolutions
Editor's note: Do you have trouble sticking to your resolutions each year? Need someone (or something) to keep you accountable? We know how hard it can be to stay on track when life gets busy, so our sister site, Souk, has a list of nine products to help you with your goals, no matter how big or small they may be.

We’ll be honest, while we’re not exactly sticklers for resolutions that require dramatic overhauls on January 1st, we do like thinking of a new year as an opportunity for a fresh start or as permission to make fresh attempts at changing something we’d like to be different in our lives.
So think of the following as things we’d add to the ‘More’ side of our ‘More/Less’ list for 2026 if you will. Instead of lofty ambitions, these are everyday goals that we hope we’ll be steadily working on long after the new year energy fades.
01 Be kinder to ourselves
We’d light this on days we can't people, or adult, as a neroli-scented reminder that it’s ok to just be and wait for things to get better. (And we choose to believe that they will get better as long as you show yourself some grace, get back up when you can and keep going.)
02 Go on more weekend trips
JOYN creates handmade bags from their studio in the foothills of the Himalayas where each piece is crafted start to finish, cut, stitched, and signed by hand in small batches. We like the fun tomato gingham print on this hand block-printed cotton canvas bag with recycled leather handles. It’s perfect for weekend getaways and the fact that it’s been stamped by hand using hand-carved blocks means no two bags are exactly alike.
03 Read more, and continue to educate ourselves.
‘Palestine’ by Joe Sacco is considered to be a landmark of graphic journalism. In it, Sacco powerfully documents his own experiences and the daily lives of Palestinians during the First Intifada in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with remarkable insight and clarity, through drawings, reportage and story-telling.
